Sweet bait
Today is the feast of St. Catherine of Siena (1347-1380). She was a mystic, philosopher and theologian. Her writings are considered great examples of early Tuscan literature. A quote from the mystic about Mary:
Mary is the most sweet bait, chosen, prepared, and ordained by God, to catch the hearts of men.
